As a Junior 3D Designer, you will assist in creating high-quality 3D visualizations, models, and technical drawings. Your role will require a combination of creative thinking, technical skills, and effective communication to deliver idea-led 3D creative solutions that align with project briefs.

 

Though primarily 3D, you may be asked to create 2D content both while assisting the wider team and also as part of your creation of 3D visuals.

Responsibilities;

​

• Creating 3D models for the creative development and production of projects. These can be in a variety of forms, from interior spaces and exhibition stands through to window and product displays.

• Collaborate with the wider design and production teams to bring concepts to life in 3D, ensuring accuracy and high visual quality.

• Collaborate with the wider design team in the creation of creative concepts and proposals.

• Create sized technical packs based on the 3D models including sizing and material annotations.

• Create high resolution renders of models.

• Ensured consistency of design across projects and contributed to maintaining design standards.

• Keep up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques.

• Assist and support in the creation of 2D assets as required

• Input into the creation of social content including the studio’s blog series on how to access and succeed in the creative industry.

Requirements:

​

Technical Skills:

• Must be proficient in SketchUp to a high standard. Knowledge of other 3D software is a bonus but not required

• Must be proficient in Layouts (SketchUp) to a high standard

• Familiarity with rendering engines including V-Ray.

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) 

• Layout of technical drawings to assist project management and production teams

• Knowledge of animation/motion graphics is a bonus but not required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in 3D design or a related role (internships or freelance experience considered).

• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and design skills.
