Role Overview

As a Junior Project Manager at Wild, you will play a pivotal role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of creative-led projects across a range of industries. Working closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders you will help ensure that all activities are on track, deadlines are met, and quality standards are high and budgets are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow within a vibrant, creative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers, and wider teams, in developing comprehensive project plans; 

  • Manage the installation diary, ensuring all installations are scheduled and coordinated effectively. Track project progress, identifying potential delays and ensuring timelines are adhered to;

  • Lead the day-to-day support of a range of client projects, providing excellent project reporting and evaluation and ensuring projects are delivered on time;

  • Coordinate and schedule project meetings, both internal and external, ensuring all relevant parties are aligned; 

  • Support the preparation of project budgets, ensuring all financial aspects are meticulously managed.; 

  • Liaise with suppliers, secure quotes, and identify smart and cost-effective approaches and practices throughout projects;

  • Research and support booking freelance event staff, locations, equipment, and other production-related assets for projects;

  • Create supplier briefs and coordinate external production suppliers as part of scoping and tender phases, acting as a point of contact for various suppliers throughout production and delivery phases.

  • Manage projects, where applicable, from conception to delivery, working with existing partners and developing new relationships

  • Coordinate and work closely with creative teams, understanding their requirements, and TO ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow

  • Provide a detailed analysis, where applicable, of projects and inefficiencies; proposing changes to operational processes ensuring high-quality experiences are delivered.

Personal Requirements

Working together is like dating, we both need to like each

  • 1+ years in a project management role, event management or experience in live events and experiential campaigns;

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, parallel workstreams and deadlines at once;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with team members and stakeholders at all levels. Must be comfortable with phone communication and capable of managing supply chain relationships effectively; 

  • You'll be solution-focused, identifying problem areas and then creating plans to find resolutions. 

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite. You will also be asked to learn and use our project management system (Scoro), but do not need prior experience of this;

  • A team player with a personable, outgoing nature, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure;

  • Collaborative and willing to get hands dirty and work on all required project tasks; 

  • A proactive approach, with a willingness to support the team and take the initiative;
