THE MOMENT

 

Silverburn Shopping Centre sought to drive footfall and increase dwell time to pre-COVID pandemic levels. Tasked with this ambitious objective, our mission extended beyond mere attraction; it was to transform the unused car park into a bustling hub of community and experience, leveraging thematic events to heighten visitor engagement and create lasting impressions.

THE APPROACH

We unleashed our creativity to design events that went beyond shopping centre placemaking. Each themed activation was a blend of fun, fright, and fantasy, carefully curated to capture the imaginations of all ages and create a buzz that was palpable both online and offline.

 

Our activations—the interstellar allure of the Galactic Carnival or the ghoulishly good time of Spooktacular—were artfully designed to enchant ticket buyers of all ages. We spun threads of fantasy into the fabric of reality, generating excitement that resonated well beyond the physical confines of the center.

MAKING IT MATTER

Our events transformed the space into a hub of excitement, driving footfall of all ages from across the whole of Scotland, many that had never visited Silverburn before. Visitors didn’t just shop; they participated in experiences that made each visit memorable. The impact was not just in the smiles and excitement it brought to its visitors but also in its significant commercial success. October 2022 marked a remarkable milestone, as it was the first month of the year to witness sales growth against the pre-pandemic levels of 2019 at Silverburn Shopping Centre.
